Clean Air Council
Poor air quality is often a concern for parents and caregivers of children with asthma. The Clean Air Council has provided Philadelphians with a great resource for checking on daily air quality in the city. Air quality alerts are posted on the homepage, and an option to sign-up for free daily forecasts by e-mail is also available.
The Children's Advocacy Project
This site provides names and contact information of social service agencies in over 20 categories. The site allows you to elect your city to view the list of social service areas. As of January, 2007, the Philadelphia city page is also providing information about the new Pennsylvania Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) expansion, Cover All Kids.
