Overview
The Division of Dentistry is staffed by board-certified/board-eligible pediatric dentists with many years of clinical experience. The Division provides consultation, diagnosis and treatment for healthy children and adolescents and offers comprehensive care to children with special medical, physical or emotional needs. The very young child and children with baby-bottle tooth decay are also of special concern. Care of the whole child, not simply the child's teeth, is emphasized. Treatment is provided in the outpatient clinic as well as in the operating room under general anesthesia. The Division's main focus of dentistry for children is complemented by our oral surgery staff, who perform simple as well as complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures.
