The Diabetes Center for Children (DCC) at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education and research. More than 2,000 children with diabetes are regular patients of the Diabetes Center, making us one of the largest centers in the country dedicated to the treatment and study of diabetes in children.
We believe that diabetes is managed best when there is a partnership between the family and the Diabetes Center team. This partnership encourages independence, self-reliance and collaboration, which increase the likelihood that a child with diabetes will experience a normal and healthy life.
