Special Delivery Unit

The Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment has opened the world's first birth facility exclusively for mothers carrying babies with known birth defects.

Mothers receiving care at the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment can now deliver their babies in the high-amenity Garbose Family Special Delivery Unit, tended to by our highly specialized staff of obstetricians, fetal surgeons, neonatologists, cardiologists, nurse practitioners, OB nurses, genetic counselors and social workers.

Location

The new Special Delivery Unit is housed within Children's Hospital, near operating rooms, the Newborn/Infant Center, and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, where staff can meet the immediate needs of infants after birth.
