5th Annual Walk for Hope

Join us for the 5th Annual Walk for Hope sponsored by the IBD Family Research Council on Sunday, April 13, 2014. The event benefits inflammatory bowel disease research at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

This year's event includes a 5K run/walk and 2K family walk and will be held at Veteran Park, 2206 Kuser Road, Hamilton, NJ 08690.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. The run/walk begins at 10 a.m. Costs for individual walkers: $25 for adults, $5 for children 11 or younger, and free for IBD patients.

To register for the upcoming event, visit CHOPWalkforHope.org.

Last year's event raised more than $187,000 for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) research at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Children's Hospital alone treats more than 1,700 children a year who suffer from inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), a painful and often debilitating disease for which there is no cure. However, the scientists and doctors at the IBD Center at CHOP are working on cutting-edge research to develop better treatments.
