Kohl's Mobile Safety Center
The first of its kind in the region, the Kohl's Mobile Safety Center van takes our safety center on the road, making affordable safety resources available in the community.
Our new, fully equipped van sells child safety products similar to those available in the Safety Center at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In addition, we educate families about the importance of child safety and the proper use of the products we carry for purchase. All items will be sold at or slightly above cost.
Safety products
Some of the items the van will stock include:
- Bike helmets
- Carbon monoxide
- Smoke alarms
- Child safety seats
- Home safety devices
To serve families of children with special needs, the van will also sell selected items including window alarms, ID products and specially designed fire alarms.
Locations
The Kohl's Mobile Safety Center travels throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area and southern New Jersey, visiting designated locations such as pediatric offices, Kohl's stores and community events. These scheduled events will be listed on the calendar on this Web site.
Schedule a visit
If you are interested in having the van come to your organization’s event, please submit your request two months in advance. Van visits will last two to three hours.
