International Medicine

Congratulations to our partners in Botswana!

The University of Botswana Pediatric Residency Program has received accreditation by the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. Congratulations to Drs Shiang-Ju Kung (Academic Head of Pediatrics), Dr Loeto Mazhani (Head of Pediatrics at Princess Marina Hospital) and their team on achieving this important step!

Why Global Health

Every year an estimated 8.1 million children die before their fifth birthday because they contract preventable and treatable illnesses like diarrhea, pneumonia and malaria. Over half of these diseases are exacerbated by poor nutrition in the developing world. CHOP staff work to change this every day.
