Lisa L. Cover, M.H.A, FACHE

Director, International Medicine

Lisa Cover joined The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in 2001 as the Director of Planning and New Business Development before joining the International Medicine team in 2012. For over 10 years Lisa worked closely with CHOP’s executive team and clinical leaders on institutional strategy, clinical program development, and network growth. In addition, Lisa led CHOP’s annual capacity planning work with Division Chiefs and practice leaders to inform inpatient and ambulatory facilities and capital expansion investments.

Prior to joining CHOP, Lisa worked in a variety of managerial positions at several academic medical centers including Columbia University in New York, Barnes-Jewish Hospital and BJC Health System in St. Louis. Lisa was also a Senior Associate at a prominent health care consulting firm in New York City leading operational efficiency improvement projects at financially distressed hospitals. She received her Master of Health Administration Degree from Washington University and is active in many professional and civic organizations.

As the Director of International Medicine, Lisa will collaborate with external organizations on business development initiatives and provide leadership support for our international patient services program.
