Ramona Rouni

International Access Coordinator

Ramona joined the International Patient Services team in October 2012. Ramona is a key player on the team as she assists IPS’s nurse coordinators in ensuring access of CHOP services for all international patients and as she ensures each family has an excellent experience. She hopes to help with the execution of CHOP’s mission for international patients and expand its quality healthcare services to the world. 

Prior to joining The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Ramona worked in project management with Fox Chase Cancer Centers and quality assurance with Johnson & Johnson’s McNeil. Ramona is also the current president of the Maghreb-American Health Foundation, an alliance focused on helping children from the Maghreb region receive care in the U.S.

Originally from Algeria, Ramona came to the United States in 1998. She received her Bachelor degree in Electric Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of Oran in Algeria, and she holds her Master in Quality Assurance and Global Affairs from Temple University. Ramona is multilingual in English, Arabic and French.
