Cathy Timko, MSN, CRNP
Clinical Nurse Coordinator, International Patient Services
Cathy joined the IPS team in January 2012. Ms. Timko, a pediatric nurse practioner, has been with CHOP since 1993 working in the Division of Oncology both as a staff nurse and as a nurse practitioner in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role as she coordinates care for medically complex children while offering support and guidance to their families.
As a member of the IPS team, Cathy coordinates care and access to CHOP services for international patients and facilitates communication between referring physicians and the CHOP hospital staff. She provides ongoing case management for each patient from initial contact to time of discharge. Cathy enjoys working with families from all over the world and is excited to be part of the IPS family.
Cathy received a master's degree in the Science of Nursing and bachelor's degree in the Science of Nursing, both from Villanova University.
