Since the inception of the Pediatric Renal (Kidney) Transplantation and Dialysis Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 1992, we have performed 300 kidney transplants with outcomes among the best in the nation.
If you're a referring physician, you'll benefit from a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, education and research in the care of infants, children and adolescents with kidney failure. We provide all forms of renal replacement therapy, including:
- Renal transplantation from living-related, living-unrelated and deceased donors
- Vascular access for hemodialysis and access for peritoneal dialysis
- Acute hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
- Continuous hemofiltration (CVVHD)
- Home training for peritoneal dialysis and follow-up support
- Chronic hemodialysis
