Collect specimen between 7AM and 10AM for valid reference intervals. For in-house collection, place sample on Ice after collection. Send to laborabory immediately. Separate plasma from cells ASAP.
Satellite facilities: Collect the specimen. Send the unspun specimen on ice to the Core Lab immediately. The specimen must be received in the Core Lab on ice within 3 hours of collection.
