Fluid or material: Fluid or material from any body site in a sterile leak-proof screw cap container OR double swab culture device

Note: For blood bone marrow samples optimal submission is in an Isolator tube (available thru the Microbiology Laboratory).
VOLUME REQUIREMENTS:
Fluid: 1 mL
Blood or Bone Marrow: one Isolator tube with maximum of 1.5 mLs specimen
Other: one double swab culture device
