Mutation analysis of BRAF gene, detection and identification of KIAA1549-BRAF fusion products
Test Methods:
1. RT-PCR for KIAA1549-BRAF fusion products is performed;
2. If no fusion products are detected, PCR amplification and direct sequencing of BRAF exons 11 and 15 are performed on the DNA;
3. If no BRAF mutations are detected a whole genome SNP array analysis of the DNA is performed.
