Overview
The Coagulation Laboratory is dedicated to the highest-quality laboratory evaluation of hemostasis and thrombosis. State-of-the-art tests are performed here to enhance diagnostic capabilities for congenital and acquired bleeding disorders, hypercoagulable conditions, platelet disorders, and autoimmune coagulation disorders. The laboratory takes pride in assisting our patients, clinicians and other clients to solve challenging coagulation problems, help in managing patients’ coagulopathies, or the measurement of hemostatic variables in basic and applied research using the cutting-edge technology and critical analysis.
The Director of the Coagulation Laboratory, Dr. Long Zheng, is interested in a variety of aspects of platelet disorders, hemostasis and thrombosis. Dr. Zheng is an authority in thrombotic microangiopathies, and will provide medical consultation and interpretation of test results.
