New patient information

The Metabolism Clinic (including the Lysosomal Center), Newborn Screening Clinic, and the Connective Tissue Clinic is located in the Richard D. Wood Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center at Children's Hospital. Please begin your child's appointment by going to the Registration Desk. Metabolism is located on the 4th Floor in the Hematology space. Newborn Screening and Connective Tissue Clinics are located on the 3rd Floor in the GI space.

The Williams Syndrome Clinic is located on the 2nd floor of Children's Hospital's Main Building, Room #2180. Please begin your child's appointment by going to the Registration Desk.

Remember that arriving late or failing to obtain a referral (if your insurance requires it) may cause you to lose your appointment. Please bring any additional information about your child, such as recent lab test results, discharge summaries and copies of any recent MRIs. In addition, please bring with you any medicines and records of any diets that have been prescribed for your child.

Insurance and payment

If your child's insurance requires you to have a referral, please obtain one in advance of your child's scheduled visit. This referral should include the visit as well as lab tests. If you are not sure if a referral is needed, please check with your child's primary care doctor or with your insurer.
