The Division of Nephrology at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia provides world-class patient care and quality professional education in the field of kidney disease and treatment. We act in partnership with patients and their families to help our patients reach the best level of physical, social and emotional health. We are one of the premier pediatric nephrology services in the nation, offering every possible service for infants, children and adolescents with kidney disorders.
Our division has benefited from the work of early pioneering physicians who pursued their interests in caring for children with kidney disease, despite the fact that the discipline was relatively new. Our physicians and staff are known today for their ability to diagnose, treat and care for children with all forms of kidney disease. They offer superb clinical care and an equal measure of understanding and compassion, as well as the necessary related support services for children and families experiencing what can be chronic, life-changing diseases.
Families seek out the Division of Nephrology from areas immediately surrounding the Hospital, as well as from towns and cities within a 100- to 150-mile radius.
