The practicum is offered bi-annually. The program includes on-site experience in the Newborn/Infant Intensive Care Unit and the clinical nutrition department at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Participants interact with CHOP staff including neonatal dietitians, neonatologists, surgeons, speech therapists, and lactation consultants during lectures and daily multidisciplinary care rounds.

There will be a fee for each week and the length of the experience can vary from one week to a maximum of four weeks.
