Beyond Cancer 2011
A celebration of the good things in life.
What an amazing day. Almost 400 parents, children and staff turned out for the 3rd Annual Beyond Cancer Family Reunion at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
This year, the day included:
- Presentations by CHOP patients who shared their journeys with childhood cancer, the impact on their lives, and what they've learned
- Activities included rock climbing, face painting, moon bounce, and a live band
- Special guests included the Philly Phanatic and the women's basketball team from St. Joseph's University.
- Fun food and treats
- Crafts and treats for hospitalized cancer patients and their families
