Webinar: Supporting Siblings After Losing a Child to Cancer

Tuesday, March 18, 7 p.m.

Presented by
Jennifer Lemisch, MA, ATR-BC, LPC
Art Therapist, Pediatric Advanced Care Team
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

The loss of a child introduces complicated and painful challenges for all grieving families. Parents with more than one child must now cope with their own grief, while remaining present for the siblings of the deceased child, who experience the loss of their brother or sister in their own, different way. Supporting siblings during this time is important, and can be difficult.

In this webinar for parents and caregivers who have lost a child to cancer and are raising other children, art therapist Jennifer Lemisch will:

Parents who watch this presentation will gain a deeper understanding of what their children may be feeling, and learn new ways to support them.

You’ll have the opportunity to submit questions to Lemisch, which will be answered live. You'll also have the opportunity to join a moderated online chat where you can talk with others who are having similar experiences.
