Ongoing Research on Late Effects of Childhood Cancer

Several other research studies are underway at Children’s Hospital. These studies help us to learn more about the late effects of childhood cancer. While there may be no direct benefit to individuals from participating, we hope to gain important knowledge that would improve the way we treat future patients. Some studies may help us change the way we treat future patients to minimize the long-term effects of therapy. Some studies may also provide information about a specific late complication that certain survivors are currently experiencing and enable clinicians to provide better follow-up.
