The Orthopaedic Surgery Clinical Fellowship program is an interdisciplinary internship that develops well-rounded orthopaedic surgery subspecialists through applied surgical skills, academic training and research. Since its inception, the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has funded nearly 50 fellows, with both clinical and research orientations.

Our clinical fellowship does not compete with any subspecialty fellowship and there are minimal night calls.
To better orient residents and fellows during their time at CHOP, each fellow or resident will receive an updated copy of the “Resident/Fellow Handbook.” This handbook will include everything a resident or fellow needs to know about the program and the Hospital, including general information, orthopaedic guidelines, service guidelines, polices and procedures, medications, and our pain management program.
