This course has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Center for Pediatric Airway Disorders and the Center for Simulation, Advanced Education and Innovation present the 7th Annual Foreign Body Pediatric Airway Endoscopy Course on Sunday, Mar. 3 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is a course intended for junior ENT residents to upgrade their endoscopy skills. It will feature several lectures. Our keynote speaker, Professor Jean-Paul Marie, will present a lecture called “Reinnervation for Bilateral Vocal Cord Paralysis: A New Treatment for Children.” The course will also feature an Airway Simulator Lab and a Piglet Foreign Body Lab for hands-on experience with foreign body removal in children.
Lectures will be held in the morning and are open to all without charge. The lab tuition fee is $225 per resident/attendee to offset the costs of coordinating the course, which is partially sponsored by a Storz educational grant. Checks are to be made payable to “The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.” (There is no charge to attend only the lectures.)
