Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT)

Educational Opportunities in Pediatric Palliative Care

Our team trains a wide variety of healthcare professionals on how to improve the quality of care for children living with life-limiting conditions.

For pediatricians we offer a one-year clinical fellowship for certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

We also offer an elective rotation for pediatric resident physicians at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and for medical students at The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

In certain circumstances, we offer electives to students from other institutions. If interested, please apply through the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine found at www.med.upenn.edu/visitingstudents.

For nurses at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we provide education in the form of individual sessions, group discussions, and debriefings.
