If you are concerned that your child is having episodes that may or may not be seizures, and a definite diagnosis has not yet been made or if your child has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and has been started on seizure medication, but is not under the care of a neurologist:

After we receive the information listed above, we will call you to schedule the appointment. Expect a CHOP EEG to be performed immediately prior to the initial consultation, even if you had a recent EEG performed locally.
Video EEG is performed in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) to aid the diagnosis of seizures and record brain activity in patients with know epilepsy to guide treatment.
