Support Groups for Brain Injury at CHOP

There are two groups currently available at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for children who have had a stroke and their families.

Neuro-Rehab Parent Support Group

This group is co-faciliated by a social worker and a parent and is open to parents and caregivers of children with acquired brain injury (including traumatic brain injury and stroke). The group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Teen Neuro-Rehab Support Group

This group provides support to teens and young adults (ages 13-21) with acquired brain injuries (including traumatic brain injury and stroke). The group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. MADE (Making A Difference Everyday) Support Group

For parents with children 0-5 years old that are seen in our Stroke Program. Please RSVP to Lois Robbins, 267-426-0218, robbinsl@email.chop.edu or Elisa Olson, 215-590-3049, olsone@email.chop.edu.

Kids Just Want to Have Fun

If you like to meet new people and make new friends while doing fun activities that kids enjoy, please join us. You must be between the ages of 6 and 14. Please contact Lois Robbins for more information, at 267-426-0218 or robbinsl@email.chop.edu.
