There are two groups currently available at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for children who have had a stroke and their families.
This group is co-faciliated by a social worker and a parent and is open to parents and caregivers of children with acquired brain injury (including traumatic brain injury and stroke). The group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. This group provides support to teens and young adults (ages 13-21) with acquired brain injuries (including traumatic brain injury and stroke). The group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
