Physical therapists specialize in developing activities for children and young adults using exercise and therapeutic play to address movement, coordination, balance, strength and endurance issues. Physical therapists also work with a child’s medical team, caregivers, school and community to encourage children to function independently in their own environment.

Physical therapy services are available for inpatients at CHOP's Main Building. Services are also available for outpatients at Main and at our Specialty Care Centers in Exton, Chalfont, Springfield, King of Prussia, Voorhees and Atlantic County.
