Pediatric Plastic Surgery Fellowship Program

Overview and mission

The Fellowship in Pediatric Plastic Surgery is a 12-month program designed to provide broad-based training in all aspects of Pediatric Plastic Surgery. The fellow will work closely with the full-time faculty in Plastic Surgery as well as faculty in related specialties for experience in managing cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies, dermatologic and vascular malformations, congenital anomalies of the eye and adnexa, pediatric hand, and general pediatric plastic surgical problems. Clinical research is encouraged and there are opportunities for laboratory research in the Craniofacial Biology Laboratory under the directorship of Hyun-Duck Nah-Cedarquist, DMD, PhD.
