Instructions for application

The fellowship seeks physicians who will have completed residency training in a program approved by the American Board of Radiology or who will otherwise be eligible for Board certification.

Updated Curriculum Vitae
Medical school transcript
Three letters of reference, addressed to the appropriate Program Training Director, from professionals familiar with your work
Parts 1, 2 and 3 of the USMLE, taken within the seven year time frame as required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
If a graduate of a medical school outside the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico, a valid ECFMG certificate
If not a citizen of the United States, copy of permanent resident card or copy of current, appropriate visa
Photograph for identification purposed only.

Interviews

Candidates for the Pediatric Radiology Program arrive at the Philadelphia International Airport the evening prior to their visit. Take a taxi to the Hotel, or the airport R1 train to University City, Philadelphia. There will be a reservation in your name at Inn at Penn or Sheraton University City. The hotel is within walking distance of the Hospital.

In the morning, you will begin your interview with a tour of the Department by Avrum N. Pollock, M.D., the Program Director. After the tour, you will begin half-hour interviews with several members of the Faculty. Lunch will be at a nearby restaurant with one/two of our current fellows

Your day will be finished by 4 P.M., leaving time for your return home.
