Joint program with The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania allowing healthy adult relatives to donate organ tissue to children with end-stage kidney, liver or lung disease.
Relationships with many national and regional insurance companies, and successful in negotiating with many out-of-area insurance companies.
Access to a range of services to help children and their families cope with physical, emotional, and financial issues related to the transplantation and recovery process.
The Transplant Center is an approved member of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and our Blood and Marrow Transplant program is Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT)-accredited. In addition, we work in collaboration with the local organ procurement organization, the Gift of Life Donor Program.
