We occasionally offer research internships to college students or those who have recently graduated from college and are looking for a research experience before medical school.
Please note, research internship positions are not offered for Summer 2012.
There are two types of experiences:
This internship focuses on research in the animal lab with Stephen A. Zderic, MD. The type of projects available will vary depending on the current status of Dr. Zderic's research, but in all cases, work with the animals will be included.
This program is coordinated by Aileen P. Schast, PhD. These projects involve the collection and analysis of patient-related data that are typically obtained through chart review.

You will be contacted with information regarding the current availability of internships and the process for setting up an interview.
There is considerable paperwork that needs to be completed before any work could start with us, including an FBI background check and a child abuse screening. Please allow at least three months from the time you initiate contact with us to your tentative start date.
