Patients come to us for many different reasons. Some need periodic care while others need care throughout their childhood. Recognizing that each patient and family has individualized needs, we strive to tailor each recommendation and each treatment to ensure we are meeting the expectations and improving the outcomes of all of our patients.
We have developed several specialized programs to help meet our patients’ needs:
- DOVE Center – For treating problems related to continence and recurrent urinary tract infections
- Stone Center – For treating children with kidney stones — those with their first stone and those with recurrent stone disease
- Spina Bifida Program – For the care of children with neurogenic bladder and bowel
- Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery – When a problem can be treated with a small incision for a quick recovery
- Center for Reconstructive Surgery – For children with complex surgical needs, such as exstrophy, epispadias, hypospadias and disorders of sex development
- Developmental Care and Transition Program – Our approach to involving all patients in their care in a developmentally appropriate way, including helping them to transition to adult care
- Program for Children with Disorders of Sex Development – For children with ambiguous genitalia or diagnosed disorders of sex development (DSD)
