Research Interests

Primary research is directed towards better understanding of the pathophysiology of inherited diseases of mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation. Also involved with basic research directed towards understanding the mechanisms of neuronal death in the neuronal ceroid-lipofuscinoses a group of severe inherited neurodegenerative diseases
