Pediatric Brain Tumor Research: Cures Through Collaboration

Scientists and neurosurgeons are working together to build a huge bank of pediatric brain tumor samples to advance research and find cures.

In this video, scientists, oncologists and neurosurgeons explain brain tumor research efforts at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, including a study of low grade glioma that quickly led to a clinical trial.

Among their most important efforts is the Children’s Brain Tumor Tissue Consortium (CBTTC), which includes other hospitals from around the country and the world.
