About Nicoletta Capasso, MPH, CPST
Nicoletta Capasso is an Injury Prevention Coordinator at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, bringing a strong background in public health and a passion for advancing community health and safety. She holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology, as well as a certification in Applied Biostatistics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Prior to joining CHOP, Nicoletta spent two and a half years working at a local health department, where she focused on opioid prevention initiatives and participated in fatality case reviews to better understand and address factors contributing to injury and death within the community. Her experience in prevention-focused public health work, data analysis, and community engagement provides a solid foundation for promoting child safety and injury prevention.
As a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST), Nicoletta is dedicated to educating families on the safe transportation of children and empowering caregivers with the knowledge and resources needed to keep children safe. She is excited to support CHOP’s mission of improving health and safety outcomes for children and families throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding communities.
