Rebecca D. Perez is program coordinator in the Office of Diversity & Inclusion (ODI) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, she is responsible for managing the logistics and operational support of ODI’s diversity programs, including education offerings, trainings, cultural awareness events, and initiatives sponsored by employee resource groups and other partners. She has been with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion since June 2017, but has been at CHOP since April 2007.
Prior to joining the ODI team, Rebecca worked in Human Resources as an HR operations specialist where she provided support services to the various teams in the department. Her responsibilities included managing the receptionist desk staff, logistical support for events, budget reconciliation, assisting with maintaining HR policies and procedures, and providing direction to staff regarding available resources. Rebecca began her career at CHOP as an executive secretary to the Chief Human Resource Officer, and throughout the years gained valuable knowledge and experience on CHOP systems and processes.
Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from East Stroudsburg University and, as a native Philadelphian, attended Central High School.
