About the Government Affairs and Advocacy
The Government Affairs team at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) supports the efforts of clinicians, staff and leadership to educate public officials and influence public policy on matters impacting CHOP and our patients. These efforts take place at the local, state and federal levels of government. We are advocates on both the legislative and regulatory fronts in Harrisburg, Trenton, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., focusing on numerous issues that impact children, clinicians, the Hospital and the Research Institute.
