Inpatient Rehabilitation

Children who need intensive rehabilitation therapies and around-the-clock medical attention may be admitted to the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Our multidisciplinary team is committed to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services so every patient can achieve their greatest potential in function and self-sufficiency.
Our unit serves children and adolescents with brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological and congenital disorders, as well as orthopedic, traumatic, cardiac and pulmonary conditions. The unit is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services that helps rehab providers optimize care and enhance the lives of patients served.
