About the Kidney Transplant and Dialysis Program

The Pediatric Kidney Transplant and Dialysis Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) provides comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents diagnosed with kidney failure. We provide all forms of renal replacement therapy and support and resources for your entire family, including:

  • Kidney transplantation from living-related, living-unrelated and deceased donors
  • Vascular access for hemodialysis and access for peritoneal dialysis
  • Acute hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
  • Continuous hemofiltration (CVVHD)
  • Home training for peritoneal dialysis and follow-up support
  • Chronic hemodialysis
