Joanna has been a patient of the Cardiac Center at CHOP all her life. In 2010, she turned to her cardiac team again as she prepared for another major event in her life: her first pregnancy.

Born with tricuspid atresia and several other heart conditions, Jason underwent four heart surgeries at CHOP's Cardiac Center before his 5th birthday.
