The Smith‑Lemli‑Opitz (SLO) Multidisciplinary Clinic at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is focused on helping patients with SLO live healthier lives. We provide personalized care based on your child’s specific needs, all in one place. Because SLO can affect many parts of the body, your child needs a team of specialists who work closely together.

Our care team includes experts in metabolism, gastroenterology, lung and sleep medicine, feeding, and developmental pediatrics. Together, they coordinate care to manage your child’s symptoms, watch for possible complications, and make sure they get the best care possible.

How we serve you

Because Smith‑Lemli‑Opitz syndrome can affect many parts of the body, your child may need care from several specialists who must work closely together. At CHOP, our multidisciplinary team is all in one place, making it easier to coordinate complex care and connect you to the specialty programs your child needs.
