Maria Katerina “Nina” Alfaro is a research data analyst in the Division of Allergy and Immunology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Nina’s hybridized clinical and technical expertise allows her to be involved in both EPIC builds for clinicians on the front-end and EPIC data extractions for researchers on the back-end. Her informatics work follows the lifecycle of projects, from inception to database design to data analysis. She is passionate about leveraging data for various research projects and providing mentorship in the field of informatics and data science.
