Kate Brien, MPH

Kate Brien, MPH, is a research coordinator in the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. 

Background

Ms. Brien has been participating in infectious disease research and global health initiatives since college. She has studied neglected tropical diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, vaccine development and epidemic responses in college, at the NIH and throughout graduate school. She is now the research coordinator for the Vaccine Education Center, where she supports research initiatives related to vaccine acceptance, education and uptake.
