Background

Siobhan Gruschow is a clinical research coordinator for PolicyLab and the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She is Research Director in the Gender and Sexuality Development Clinic. Siobhan has experience in epidemiologic methods, adolescent health, violence prevention, data management, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. She currently works on projects aimed at improving the health outcomes of HIV+, LGBTQ and homeless youth, as well as projects reducing disparities for children with asthma.

Prior to her work at PolicyLab, Siobhan was a research coordinator at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention where she managed all research projects in the New Jersey Traffic Safety and Outcomes (NJ-TSO) Program, which uses administrative data linkages to advance traffic safety research and epidemiologic methods to inform policy focused on preventing motor vehicle crashes for adolescents. Siobhan was also a maternal and child health research fellow at Boston University's School of Public Health, where she studied the impact of pornography viewing on sexual behavior in young adults. She earned her MEd from Arizona State University and her MPH in Epidemiology and Maternal and Child Health from Boston University's School of Public Health.
