The purpose of this study is to determine whether an investigational drug is safe for children to take. This study aims to compare the investigational drug to other blood thinners commonly used to treat acquired or congenital heart disease.Children with congenital or acquired heart disease may be at risk for forming blood clots. When blood clots block blood flow in the brain, this is called a “stroke.” The investigational drug is a blood thinner. This study will help us to understand more about the use this investigational drug in children with heart disease.
