About Fatema Esaa Hassonjee, MD
Fatema Hassonjee, MD is a board-certified pediatric dermatologist who finds great fulfillment in caring for children. As a parent herself, she enjoys partnering with families to help them understand and treat their children’s skin conditions. She has a particular clinical interest in the overlap between skin and gastrointestinal disease. She was drawn to the field of dermatology because it marries her passions for science and art. She approaches every patient with a clinician's eye and an artist's curiosity: what story is the skin trying to tell? Above all, her goal is to ensure every child and family in her care feels seen, understood, and empowered.
