Background

Dr. Mowery earned her medical degree at Yale University School of Medicine and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. She then received fellowship training in spinal cord injury medicine at MetroHealth/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Most recently, Dr. Mowery was an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Mowery has primary responsibility for the inpatient rehabilitation unit consultation service at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She has special expertise and experience in caring for adolescents and young adults with spinal cord disorders and trauma. She also participates in the Cerebral Palsy and the Pediatric Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinics.
