17th Annual Celiac Education Day

Date:
Mar 6, 2022 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (ET)

Each year, the Celiac Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) provides children with celiac disease and their caregivers with a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary educational program. While the 2022 event will be virtual again this year, it will continue to provide high-quality presentations for families near and far!

The 17th Annual Celiac Education Day is open to CHOP families who want to:

  • Hear evidence-based lectures about celiac disease, current research and potential new treatments from respected experts in the field
  • Learn how celiac disease presents across the lifespan – from early childhood through adolescence and early adulthood
  • Understand more about naturally gluten free food and the Mediterranean Diet
  • Learn how to safely eat gluten free in school, at restaurants and when traveling
  • Obtain the most up-to-date information on celiac disease and COVID-19
  • Hear from other kids with celiac disease about their real-life experiences
