Overview

Neonatal healthcare providers are frequently challenged with the safest and most effective medication to choose for their patients in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). This one-day course will provide an overview of medication safety and specific medication updates including indications, dosing and safety considerations. Ample time is available to share the different perspectives of pharmacists, nurses, APPs, and physicians and increase attention to medication safety. This event is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
