Achieving Health Equity for Children with Asthma
The Virtual 12th Annual Fighting Asthma Disparities Summit will build on existing knowledge and experience with a deeper discussion on health inequities in childhood asthma. Experts will share lessons learned from implementing a patient-centered approach to asthma management in diverse populations. Workshops will address the impact and specific challenges of COVID-19 on families managing childhood asthma and discuss the successful adaptation of a home-based asthma intervention. Workshops will also invite discussion on a school-based asthma medication intervention in West Philadelphia pre-COVID.
